Harvie Ranching is a family run farm and ranch operation founded in 1977. We are located one hour north of Calgary, Alberta just on the edge of the Rocky Mountain foothills.
The Harvie ranch breeds registered beef cattle. 150 Polled Hereford and 150 Charolais cows calve each year, producing top seedstock bulls and heifers to sell. We also have farmland in crop and forage production, for grain and hay sales.
Harvie Ranch Charolais and Hereford cattle genetics sell worldwide. In 2006, progeny from our breeding programs were National Show Champions in three countries - Canada, Australia and England.
We believe that the foundation to our herd are strong Polled Hereford and Charolais cow families and using top bull calves out of those females to build our herd.
